Basically, i just like raws. There are more raws on my computer than scanlated manga... and some series that haven't been touched yet are better in their original language...
I'm happy I found this site n_n;

Same as Koyomi. I just dislike reading mangas at my native language(portuguese)...

I guess I just download Japanese RAWs because I can read them and understand them better. I find some scenes to be more emotional in Japanese than the English scanslated/translated ones. But that's just me.

It's a good thing I found this site because there are so many RAWs! I have a couple of RAWs, too, but since there are all downloaded, I'm not sure if I can share it. But then I also have some RAW tankoubons, too. I just don't know how to scan them into my computer.

Basically because I'm learning japanese and I want to know new series that haven't been scanlated yet :P

And, as Koyomi said, "I just like raws" :P

I'm Japanese-American and I can read Japanese fluently.  I've downloaded translated manga before and I was okay with that but it started to annoy me when the translations started getting sloppy.  I especially hated it when the scanlator would write over drawn parts.  I would buy them, and I do have a lot, but I'd rather have an electronic copy

Thank you uploaders and of course the ones that provide the scans.

Besides some volumes are out of print, that is the reason this site is so valuable at now.

yep I agree with that.

I buy each month a lot of stuff in japan (at least 15 volumes). And some old series are nowhere to find.

Well i get chance cause my girlfriend's family  lives in Japan, so I can buy used stuff and ask them to send it abroad

We should thank a lot the scanners too that probably have a hard way to find those old stuff and don't care about cutting/scanning (even if they probably spend a lot of money in them)

I'm basically an impatient person; it's faster for me to just read the raws than to wait days/weeks for some group to scanlate them. (Also, like what the above posters have mentioned, sometimes the translations are sloppy.)

i'm a manga collector, and i like to collect those mangas i liked in their best quality which is in the RAW original language. The art is so much better than in a scanlated one.

i'm learning japanese, and I find it useful to read raw manga, i can learn many new words and the common speaking way from reading manga, I like anime also, but i can't understand what they said if I don't know much vocabularies. I love raw manga and this site, thanx u so much.

I'm learning Japanese and I'm really like the raw version to be collected in my dearest computer.
I usually use them for wallpapers, winamp skin, and other related fan works.

Artbook especially i rather buy the japanese one rather than stuff that have been scanlated/translated. The quality is different.

I'm Japanese and I don't live in Japan anymore. I sometimes miss Japan and when I read Manga, it makes me feel better. Manga helps me get rid of stress.
